Early rains in northern California provided greenery in late December. Sonoma County, about a hour's drive north of the
Golden Gate bridge, is still predominantly rural.

The dark tree against a light sky provides contrast despite flat lighting. It would have been better to get more of the tree
against the sky, but I couldn't get close enough. It's best not ignore bulls when photographing trees in pastures.
