I took this pair of images a few blocks from the train station in Shinjuku:

I needed to make a spliced panorama in Photoshop™ to get all of the central building in the image along with street. To make the splice work the zone of overlap cannot have anything moving, so I placed the upper image above the street activity. The high percentage of sky caused the exposure to be reduced compared to the darker scene at ground level. This has the good effect of keeping some detail in the clouds. Note the small amount of sky in the lower image is blanked by overexposure.

I used Enhance > Lighting > Shadows and Highlights to lighten the dark buildings in the upper photo while leaving the sky detail. The images were spliced automatically. Then Filter > Correct camera distortion was used to take out some the vertical perspective convergence. (There is a QSA tutorial on perspective correction that includes a video.) I had to rotate the image a few degrees to make the building vertical. After cropping, the resulting image is:

Perhaps the image could be improved by increasing the contrast or making the shadows darker, more along the lines of the upper photo. I elected to make the details more visible.
